Nothing mere about this mortal... in his own imagination. He possesses the powers of not giving a damn, taunting his friends and foes alike, and virtual immortality. These powers originate from a divine bloodline that can be traced back to Odin himself. In addition, he can annoy people like no one else.
Special equipment includes his home built PC (getting out-dated), Hal Jordan's Green Lantern power ring and battery collectable, 16 lb sledge hammer tucked under his pillow, a 7 year old cell phone that hasn't quit on him yet, and a massive DVD collection.
There's also a crappy 1997 Saturn SL1... but there's really nothing special about it.
In fact, the Nerfed-mobile probably needs to be retired and replaced.

Virtue is my server of choice, but I also have characters on Liberty, Justice, Freedom, and Protector. My first level 50 was a storm/electric defender on Virtue (Windy Skye), and my most recent 50 is an illusion/radiation controller.

I've been involved with RPGs since the late 1980s, originally starting with 1st Edition Advanced D&D (and will be ending with D&D 3.5e!!) and dabbling in other games such as TSR's Marvel Super Heroes RPG, Top Secret/S.I., and Ars Magica.I became my D&D group's primary DM in the early 1990s and have been such ever since (no matter how much I want to be just a player). I played both Ultima Online and World of Warcraft briefly (my experience lasting about 2 weeks each). My first MMO was Everquest... my highest levels attained there were level 44 half-elf druid, level 32 barbarian warrior, and level 28 dark elf sorcerer. My sorcerer was an outcast from level 5. In order to play with my friends but use the character I wanted, I became a master of the faction game --I couldn't go near my home city, but I was welcome in the human and dwarf cities, tolerated in the barbarian lands (and the druid/ranger lodge near Quenos), and looked upon in high regard everywhere in both the wood elf and high elf cities. Damn, that was tough!!
I create a character based on myself in every game I play (that allows for such character developement). Initially, I recreated a number of my old Marvel Super Heroes pen & paper RPG characters in COH, but my time in the game has really inspired me to create some interesting (to me, anyhow) and unique characters.
[edit] Gaming Schedule
My current gaming schedule is somewhat flexible, having no set playtimes. I am currently unemployed, so you might see me online anytime and any day from when the servers go back up from scheduled maintenance until the next time they go back down again. I don't, however, spend all my time online gaming... still out looking for a job and prepping to go back to school to expand my job options. When gaming, unless I'm in the middle of some hardcore planned event, I like to take a break after 3 or 4 hours of sitting... otherwise my butt hurts and I start getting less ambitious in the game until I become completely disinterested and have to walk away.
[edit] Team Preference
My only real preference is that I am not the team tank --even if I am playing a tanker. If I am using a tanker, consider me a tough but low-damage scrapper. Otherwise, I am fairly willing to get involved with any of my characters in just about anything from radio/newspaper missions to AV story arcs to hunting for giant monsters.
[edit] Roleplay Content
I'm roleplay friendly. Sometimes, I'm happy to take whatever team I can get and that means (especially on the Freedom server) little to no RP going on. I can handle that. At othertimes, I find myself on teams with hardcore RPers who will take the time to correct themselves if they forget to preface an OOC statement with brackets and/or the OOC label. I'm usually willing to jump right in and roleplay along with them as long as our characters aren't too radically different in personalities. I'm not especially put off by Mature RP if that's your thing, but generally don't get very involved with it myself.
[edit] Non-Gaming Background
Outside gaming and what drew me to CoH/V is my love of comic books and related media (such as super hero cartoons, movies, games, etc). Frankly, I've been growing a little disappointed with the direction comics have been taking for the past couple of years, especially from Marvel Comics!! I don't buy new comic books anymore --I just get regular updates about current events from a friend. I own everything from the DCAU (except for Static Shock and the Zeta Project so far), and right now I am really looking forward to the Iron Man movie.
Although currently unemployed, I have spent the past 10 years in one job or another as a professional driver and have a Class B CDL (commercial driver's license). Thinking about my future, I'm looking to expand my career choices. With that in mind, I am planning to go back to school... for??
