I am a 30-something male living in San Diego, California, with my wife and beautiful two year old son. I work in the e-commerce industry (sorry, I’m not getting more specific than that). In my spare time, I enjoy playing video games (duh), writing, drawing and PnP Role Playing Games. Currently, I am running a game of Scion: Hero, by White Wolf Games, as well as playing City of Heroes and World of Warcraft. Strangely, I don’t see CoH and WoW as being polar opposites, and happily play both.

[edit] Player Gaming Information
I’ve been a fan of video games for a long, long time, dating back to the Atari 6400 and the old paddle controller. Computer games started with Zork and other text-based “dungeons.” Eventually, I graduated to graphical games. In no time at all (or so it seemed) I was playing my first round of Everquest. Ah, the memories. From there, I learned about Beta Testing, and got into several games as a Beta Tester, including Eve Online, Space and Beyond and Disney’s Toontown Online. I got into City of Heroes thanks to a webcomic called PvP. They had a deal going on at the San Diego Comic Con where if you bought $50 in stuff (which I was anyway) you got a copy of the game for free, so I did. And I’ve been hooked ever sense. I got into WoW when a friend gave it to me for Christmas.

I think I’ve mentioned most of this above. I work in the e-commerce industry, am married (our 2nd anniversary is just around the corner, in fact!) and have a beautiful 2 year old son.

I love writing up character backgrounds, and have even helped several other players with theirs. I’m more a fan of the Silver Age style heroes, where good guys were good guys, and not anti-heroes, and so most of my characters reflect that.
