Ci Ci never seems to go anywhere without this little gadget. Without it, he'd be unable to speak with his fellow Galacto-Rangers!

[edit] Background

This small, child-like insect remembers little of his past. It's unknown if Ci Ci was once a human, or if he was simply a normal Cicada that had been put through a series of experiments. Though he is eager to know more about himself, he feels that waiting for the answer is much better than searching for it.

His earliest memory is gaining conciousness in a filthy pool of water in King's Row. Curious of his surroundings, he fluttered around the area until he was nabbed by a group of Skulls. Assuming that he was a hero on patrol, they beat small bug and tore off his wings. When the idea of killing the insect surfaced, Ci Ci fought back and discovered he possessed strange mental and sound capabilities. After spending some time watching other heroes pass through and fight crime in King's Row, Ci Ci decided to become a hero himself. However, he didn't want to be alone...

Ci Ci cannot remember if he ever did have a family. Such made the bug feel quite lonely, and soon started to look for a group as soon as he began working as a hero. His search ended when he met the armored hero Eisenfurst in Pocket D, whom told him about the Galacto-Rangers. Upon joining the group, Ci Ci did not consider the group as a team, but as a family. And as an added plus, he regrew his wings!

Ci Ci behaves much like a child does. Even when he's working, he attempts playing or dancing with other heroes, and sometimes sings. He also seems to enjoy mimicing other's voices and an assortment of other sounds.

He firmly believes that everyone, including the most vile villain, has the capability of being good. Such beliefs has nearly cost the bug's life several times, but he seems to always avoid such.

Although he usually possesses a lot of self-confidence, there are times where Ci Ci will slip into moments where he believes that his powers are useless. Such comes from other heroes underestimating him when he first started his career.

Ci Ci can project sound in such a way that he can make it wrap around others and himself, protecting themselves from serious harm. However, his powers aren't limited to just protecting his allies. He can severely weaken others and even cause small localized earthquakes.

Although one would not think so, Ci Ci possesses powerful mental abilities. By creating a mixture of emotions, he can project them at villains and make it difficult for them to focus properly. Despite him being very small, Ci Ci can also send villains flying through the air if he tries hard enough! He is also working on improving his ability to speak with others telepathically, and possesses some mind reading abilities but never uses it unless he's asked to. However, he sometimes picks up on others thoughts without trying. In addition, he can sense a variaty of different Auras around people.

Psi Cicada typically fights along side other Galacto-Rangers, but is more than willing to fight with those outside of his "family".

Although he usually considers everyone to be his friend, he is closest to Monkey Girl, Human Flashbulb, Beetletun, Hinto, Miles, Chogori and Pyroflash.

1. Will not pick up other's thoughts unless you want Ci Ci to! If you want him to "hear" a thought, send a tell.
2. I will not dive into your character's mind without asking first.
3. Ci Ci will only react to auras if you first send a tell describing what he sees and/or feels. In some cases, Ci Ci will behave VERY strangely (EX: Will behave like the person for a short while, will panic, etc).
4. Ci Ci speaks in broken English.
