Incarna/Containment Unit

The central device in Feldar technology is the containment units that have allowed the development of their race to its current form. A biological organism is reduced to the bare systems needed to maintain the life form on an enclosed life support system in the device. The unit allows the new being to interface mentally with mechanized forms termed as engines as if the device was its own body.

[edit] Unit System Styles
Containment units come in two different system types:
[edit] Adaptable System
A term used to describe higher grade containment units employed by the Feldar. An adaptable system is able to be inserted into engines designed for the model, as well as engines normally employed by lower-caste units.
[edit] Fixed System
This style of system is the most commonly employed in the Feldar hosts. A fixed system is easier to maintain. The units that are designed as fixed are developed to be able to handle certain engine types. They are unadaptable to other models due to their specific design.
[edit] Unit Models
The designs of the containment units reflects the old concept of caste system that was pioneered by the original founders of the Feldar Empire. This idea has translated over in the idea of various models that currently exist within the hosts. All factions employ the units. Little development has been done into the creation of new models after revolt caused by the creation of the Meridian-units.
Over the early part of the civil war, the Azure Cabal Alliance has also developed independent units and engines that are similar to the Order technology. These models are often found only within the resistance faction. However, many of the primary units developed make up a bulk of their forces in the modern day with the expense required in the creation of their own versions.
