[edit] Origins
Not all that much is known about Widower's origin; even to him really. The only distinctions he can recall about his place of birth was that "It had quite a few islands." This could be referring to Nerva, the Isles themselves, or even Paragon. Still unkown. However it was near age three when he was picked up by Arachnos. It was claimed that he was found abandoned but the recent evidence would likely show otherwise.
SPOILERS FOR THINGS UNKNOWN TO WIDOWER AND MOST PEOPLE WITHOUT OMNISCIENCE
Widower was actually picked up after a divination by Kalinda for those who would stay for the Elite Corps of the Widows. A combination of his Mu ancestry and some latent unmastered Psychic potential is cause for this. After the divination, operatives were sent to his home to kill the parents, kill the witnesses, and burn the structure. After successfully using a combination of stealth packs and magics to disguise themselves as his parents of course and leave him on a desolate street-corner that is.

[edit] Arachnos Training and Upbringing
After aquisition Widower was brought to Ghost Widow Tower in Mercy for training. In this elite group there was a new form of training every year. Starting from gradual fear eliminations early on to Freezer and Oven Training later. In this time Ghost Widow became a sort of mother for Widower. Or at least this is how he saw her. As far as he knew, Arachnos was the only fitting family he had known. Finally came the time for the...Extensive, surgery for the spikes. The bones in his forearms were hollowed and replaced with the deadly Impervium Spikes he now has. In this time he met the the one who was to be his co-operative, the Golden Widow.
