Varina first realized she had special powers when she was 14. During summer of that year the heat was intense but she started to generate a field of cold that made the heat bare able. Eventually she began to make and throw ice bolts.

Varina grew up thinking she was a normal girl. But as she got closer to her teen years her hair started changing from the brown from her youth to a new light blue. By the time she hit 14 years old her hair had finished changing, and she began showing signs of being able to control and throw ice.
