Whadaya mean Fire Fight is taken? Ok, how about Fire Fray? Taken? Pfff. Fire-Fray? Taken?! Alright. Fray Fire then...but I don't even know what the means!

Reached 50 November 5th, 2009

Favourite Movies:

  • The Warriors
  • Tank Girl
  • Fight Club

Fray Fire has also recently gained the ability to sustain flight:

"Yeah. Apparently it has something to do with thermals and hot air rising. Pff. I don't know. Discovery Channel FTW though."

Quotes

  • "Mama said I shoulda been a scrapper"
  • "I'm powered by the Sun! Green rocks make me weak! No...wait, that's someone else. Oh, I was bitten by a radioactive...matchbook?"

[edit] Weaknesses

"What? Like I'd tell ya how to beat me? Pff. Good luck. Heck, I could tell ya how to beat me and you couldn't beat me. You could hang me by ma toes for hours and you still couldn't beat me. I could tie both hands behind ma back and give you a spear and you still couldn't beat me!"

  • Main weakness: Cockiness.

This gets her in over her head every now and then.

  • Can't dance....like at all. Prefers moshing. She is very good at moshing and she believes that will more than make up for her lack of dancing skill.

"Nuthin' shows a guy you like em' like hip checkin' him through a security gate at a 1349 concert. He's only worth sumthin' if he gets up."

  • Enjoys headbutting too much. Yes, after a few times that becomes a weakness. Just don't tell Fray that.
  • Is still all too human and vulnerable to all the human type problems if not careful. Bullets, knives, bombs, poisons, diseases, mental breakdowns, emotional troubles, etc.

[edit] Powers

[edit] Expert Brawler

Fray is a trained fighter and excels in melee combat. Her years of taking lumps from the great Edward Novak enable her to continue when normal(or even some super) humans would have failed. Fray's fighting style is very closely related to that of her mentor, but she adds her own unique style to it, making for an unpredictable opponent.

[edit] Pyrokinesis

Fray posses a limited ability to control fire and use it to augment her brawling style. Fray can't say where or how she got these powers, but she admits they come handy. This limited ability also allows her to manipulate warm air currents to fly through Paragon. She says it's "pretty neat."

[edit] Fourth Wall?

Perhaps Fray has headbutted a few too many foes in her time, but lately she believes that everyone around her is engaged in some type of virtual reality simulation controlled by other people. Some might few this as mental illness brought on by too many blows to the head. Fray sees it as an advantage as she puts it "I can see that little orange thing around you and that makes you real easy to punch in the face..."

[edit] Triva

  • While she is able to sustain rapid flight, she prefers to drive around Paragon in one of the two vehicles left to her by Edward Novak. Either the 1967 Pontiac GTO or the Harley Davidson FXE 1200 Super Glide 1974
  • Fray does have a The Trenchcoat Terror homage outfit, but despite the fact her mentor used it to great success, she finds the full mask damned uncomfortable.

[edit] OOC Triva

  • The look came first, followed by the powers, followed by the backstory. This is how to NOT make a character. Great Tank ingame, but weak story. I am sorry.
  • I know nothing about vehicles. I know about weapons, but 67 must have been a good year for cars....
  • Would you believe she's not actually "science" origin, but "mutant" as she is Andrew Saxson's long lost daughter? Snap! I didn't plan it that way, but when I linked Hailey Nails to Saxson, I knew I had another character with red hair and no explanation to how she got her powers that needed explaining.
  • Theme song is regrettably 3OH3's Holler Til' You Pass Out. For some reason, I thought they were a comedy act at first and I'm not their biggest fan....but it's a fitting song.
