Elena is a forceful woman who isn't afraid to take what she wants. She's very experienced in many areas, and often gives her opinion regardless of whether it's wanted or not. Despite her opinionated nature, El is a very caring and protective person, as likely to defend her friends as she is to destroy her enemies. Her psychic abilities make her extremely perceptive, and strong emotions around her can often influence the way she reacts to a situation.

El is inherently psychic, her talent powerful and well controlled. Her psychic strength is limited only by the mental energy she can draw from those around her, and by her ability to focus it. Her powers include telekinesis, focused mental blasts, and other talents that are more difficult to describe.
[edit] Telepathy
Elena's telepathy is strong, and also very sensitive to the emotions of those she's close to. She tends to keep out of others' minds if possible, though if she has to she can actually synch her energy to mimic that of the person's, effectively rendering mental shielding useless.
[edit] Mental Barrage
Like most trained psychics, Elena can project her energy and focus it into projectiles of mental force. Unlike most psychics however, she can use this to do more than just knock her opponents unconscious. If El focuses hard enough, she can actually cause severe physical damage, such as creating a blast that can cut, or burn her enemies.

Elena's telepathy and ability to negate mental barriers gives her the unique ability to rob her enemies of control of their own bodies, and disrupt the flow of energy from the brain to the limbs.

Elena has taken to her training under Ghost Widow with much excitement, intrigued by every new spell and secret she learns. She has a voracious appetite for this new knowledge, and is very skilled despite having only recently started to learn the discipline of her mentor. She's also taken to stealng the souls of her enemies much like Ghost Widow does, adding the energy to her own reserves.

In order to expend energy, El needs to replenish herself almost constantly. She does this by draining the mental strength from those around her and storing it within whatever shell she's created for herself. Mostly she uses this on the Carnies she 'leads', having impersonated their leader years ago. She's taken to siphoning the raw energy that they bleed off, over time, giving her a steady supply to draw from.
[edit] Thoughtform
El's never completely explained it to anyone, but she refers to herself as a thoughtform. That is, she's composed entirely of psychic energy, and is naturally formless, her mind keeping the energy from dissipating. She can channel some of her energy into creating a physical body, and does so frequently, though each can be different in any number of ways she chooses. This can also be used to create organic and inorganic matter, though it drains a significant amount of her energy to create any amount of living tissue. Thus, losing any of her shells is incredibly draining, and can leave her without most of her strength.

Ghost Widow Ghost Widow and Elena share an understanding of what it's like to be a phantom among men, and it was only natural that El join Widow's faction as her apprentice. Ghost Widow has taught El a great deal, including the mysteries of her Soul Mastery, which El uses more and more frequently.
