Julia Lathan was created in early May 2005, as a part of the player-run plot "Paragon Legacy," where the future children of today's heroes came back in time to save the timeline. While most of the characters involved have since been deleted once the plot was over, Julia has been my main character for nearly 3 solid years now, always growing and evolving.

Julia's life has been pretty long and very complex, with all manner of twists and turns along the way. She was born May 23rd, 2005, and came back in time from 20 years in the future on May 30th, just a week after being born. Since then, she's been many things - a hero, a member of a band, a villain, a longbow operative, and most recently, a pirate. In mid-2006, she left Paragon to come to the Isles and live a different life, less hounded by rules and false ideas. There she met Dana Frost, whom she later married, and Unchained Melodie, who she's come to call her mother.

Julia was born a mutant, and as early as age 3, started growing into her powers of energy manipulation. She works as a sort of energy conduit - siphoning energy from her surroundings, converting the energy into a new form, and using it as she desires. In combat, she is most often seen throwing fire and lightning, while pulling energy straight from her enemies to fuel her next attacks, but out of combat she's been known to use her powers for all types of situations, including healing, tweaking the nervous system to feel certain things, or not feel others, hacking computer systems and door locks, and even a form of pseudo telepathy with others who share powers similar to hers.

• Septa - Her father and guardian, the two have a sort of ongoing love/hate relationship. They support each other, and when they're in frequent contact, they appear to be very close, but those who've gotten to know either very well knows that each of them has secrets they're trying to hide from one another.
• Unchained Melodie - Julia's adopted 'mother', Julia relies on Mel a great deal for support and comfort. Many people struggle to understand how these two have bonded as well as they have. But they've fought through a lot of good and bad times together, and Julia would give most anything for Mel.
• Dana Frost - Julia's ex-wife, they were once as close as can be. Over time, things took their toll on their relationship, when finally a failed effort to bring down a powerful villain group in Africa pushed Julia to the breaking point, and she left Dana in her despair. The two have yet to repair the bridge burned on that day.
• Kichi - Antonym, as Julia calls her. The two are so alike, in so many ways, but completely opposite at the same time. While Julia doesn't go to her as often as she thinks she ought to, she appreciates the advice and friendship Kichi's given her.
• De-Motivator - One of Julia's closer friends from the Isles, she's proud to believe she understands De-Mo better than most anyone. During Julia's time aboard the Dread Aces ship, the two spent plenty of time together, and even developed crushes for each other. On two occasions something almost came from that, but it never quite panned out.
• Tessarae Julia loves Tessa to death, and would do anything for her in a heartbeat. Except, apparently, date her, which is a constant point of strife between the two. They lived together in Kings Row, before Julia moved to the Isles, and though they've never been that close since, each of them keeps memories of the other close to heart.

• Julia's gone by several different names in the past 3 years, in countless rerolls. Fire Hawk, Gryphon's Flame, Julia Lathan, and Ember Prime are all in game names that she once went by. Altogether, its estimated she has 120 or so levels to her name, though only Firelight and Snowlight have ever passed level 30.
