Summary (OOC)

Eternals is a fictional, role-playing supergroup for City of Heroes on Virtue. The Eternals were created by Sheeva and Psych Ward on July 3, 2004. The supergroup was designed to offer heroes a place to play in a fun and casual atmosphere. The Eternals do not represent any one facet of a massive multiplayer online role-playing game. Rather, it accommodates them all. The SG has gone through several growth spurts over the years, and (because of this) is made up of a variety of players. Among the ranks of the SG are everything from hardcore roleplayers to hardcore gamers.

Leadership

Founders

Founders are the leaders of this organization. They are the source of guidance and direction for this group. The Founders' role is to set the course of the organization as a whole, and to guide its operations. All decisions are at the discretion of the Founders, though they value the advice of their Vanguards and Commanders.

Vanguards

Vanguards are leaders who work hand in hand with Commanders and Founders to make sure everything is running smoothly. They will watch Guardians and Champions for leadership potential and make recommendations accordingly; provide different points of view for the Founders' consideration; and help provide a sense of balance and continuity, and maintain the integrity of leadership within the Eternals. Each Vanguard also oversees and monitors our coalitions.

Commanders

Commanders are basically captains. Commanders will be able to invite players to the Eternals. Commanders will also help set up events and run events on their own, if needed. They will also be looked to for guidance if members need assistance, and must provide a positive public face to the members of this group.

Champions and Guardians

Champions

Guardians who display exemplary behavior, leadership qualities, and an eagerness to see the Eternals thrive are promoted to Champion. Champions are exemplary models of heroic effort and good behavior, and have proven such by achieving Security Level 25. Also they must be registered here at our website; and be in good standing.

Guardians

Guardians are quite simply members. We have eliminated the New Member rank. When a player is invited into the supergroup, they are Guardians. Despite their low rank, they are still considered equals within the Eternals's family-like atmosphere. There are no specific responsibilities given to Guardians, other than the continuation of their work as registered Heroes and upstanding members of the Eternals.
