Drex Vexel (Diego Vandarish) is a fictional character on the VIRTUE server. He is the player @DrexVexel's main villain in CoX. (NO WAY, DrexVexel's main villain is Drex Vexel!?!) He is arch nemesis to the beloved and famous, Johnny Turbo. Johnny actually influenced him a great deal, along with famous comic book masterminds like Kingpin. Gotta love the masterminds!

[edit] The Falconite Has Triplets

Diego was the third of three children. His father was Daniel Vandarish, AKA The Falconite. The Falconite was a famous superhero who turned away from good after being captured and vigorously tortured by Lord Recluse. Lord Recluse imprisoned him for seven years until he had gone literally insane. He became corrupted and started to plot the death of all those around him. He would mumble to himself and speak in tounges. Due to his "condition," Lord Recluse decided to toss him out on the street. After roaming the land as a bum for quite some time, he impregnated a Longbow sargeant named Carrie Hunson. She died in childbirth, but she managed to give birth to triplets, but one...one was unique.

[edit] And So It Begins

Out of the three children that were born by Carrie, only one of them exhibted the same "superhero" genome that The Falconite had. Diego did. Unfortunately, the genome did not seem to develop enough leaving him superpowerless, like his brothers. Daniel was devestated, he wanted a succesor to take over his throne and become the next Falconite. Daniel shunned heroism now, so he plotted to turn Diego into a superpowered monster. One that could destroy Paragon City and claim it in the Vandarish name. Daniel had gone completely crazy, he was obsessed with ruling the world. So much that he stole a genome amplifier from Crey Industries and devised a way to increase the power of Diego's genome.

[edit] It's An Amplification Party!

When Diego was 14, Daniel had finally prefected the genome amplifier. He took his son to an abandoaned warehouse. He tied him to a post and aimed the amplifier directly at him. Diego was enraged, he couldn't believe his dad was doing this. Daniel fired the amplifier at Diego and the genome grew incredibly. It took over and Drex's powers developed at a lightning fast rate. Daniel refused to turn off the amplifier though, not until he saw proof of Diego's superpowers. Diego ripped away from the post and began fighting the amplification ray. He slowly made his way to his father and raised his hand. It became encased in energy and he crushed the amplifier with it. Daniel was estatic, but his excitement was shortlived when Diego turned to him...fists glowing. Daniel ran for the door, but Diego distored gravity around him, crushing him to the floor. He then used this new gravity ability to pick up the wreckage of the amplifier and smash it onto his father. Diego went over to the body and felt its pulse. He had killed his father...and he smiled.

[edit] Enter, Drex Vexel

Diego began to abuse his powers. He used them as luxiries. Blasting the tax collector, distorting a piece of pizza so that it would go to his mouth, you know, everday stuff. He had not spoken to his brothers for the last few years...he wondered what they had done with their lives. He also wondered what would happen if he tried to contact them. Suddenly, he saw something in his head. He saw himself killing both his brothers. He saw the future. He tried again to get another image, but the power would not activate. He was angered by this, he wanted to train his mind to get an image whenever he wanted. He needed to find out more about this power, so he began stealing science research, technology, and money to fund his own research. He donned the name Drex Vexel in order to protect himself from the authorities. He began a life of crime to discover the true nature of his powers.

[edit] Personality

Much like his arch nemesis, Johnny Turbo, Drex can be broken up into three categories: Style, Intellegence, & Personal Skills.

Drex Vexel masterminding a bank heist on the 22nd National
Drex Vexel masterminding a bank heist on the 22nd National

[edit] Style

Drex is a bit of a mastermind when it comes to crime. Petty purse snatchings and muggins aren't his games. Carefully plotted bank heists, hostage takings, and framings are more in his ball park. Heck, he'll even rearrange the timeline to make things go his way. Of course, Drex is not a good "solo" crime lord. He has got the right stuff, but he needs some nameless henchmen to help him out. Of course, that's hard to do because he often wants to be in charge. He thinks he's got all the answers...which can get on...no...it WILL get on people's nerves

[edit] Intellegence

In all truthfulness, Drex is...a little brainy. I would not call him "brilliant," but hey, I don't have to because he calls himself that enough. He is a smart guy, but he's no Albert Einstein. And it seems that the only one who doesn't notice it is good ol' Drex himself. He always thinks he's got the answer to everything! No matter what question you ask him, he'll yell over EVERYONE else and throw in his two cents. Then if the group doesn't agree with Drex's "two-cents," well then, lets just say, there would be A LOT of gravity distortion in THAT room...if ya catch my drift.

[edit] Personal Skills

Drex is a completely masculine jerk. As far as women go, he feels no reason to even be involved with them. He feels that women distract him from his next brilliant plan. He thinks women are inferior to men and should not even be considered heroes and villains. Drex believes that men are the only suitable beings on this Earth, and he does not mind showing it. He is a sexist pig to sum it up. Of course, he still believes women serve SOME purpose. They make food and are good for sexual gratification. Plus, when you get pictured on the cover of Paragon's Most Wanted, it's good to have a lady on your arm.
