[edit] Some Thoughts
Just a few thoughts, this area seems to need quite a bit of work.
- Should Duo perhaps be renamed as Super Duo or Team?
- Doesn't make much sense for individual group categories to fall under a top level category in this manner, maybe there should be an unaligned group category?
- Seems that a decision should be made whether groups should be articles or categories. My opinion is categories seems to make more sense given a character can be organized into them. Groups should then be allowed articles under their own name, but those articles should ultimately be grouped into the groups category not the main category here?

- Re: 1, I think Duo should be fine, as there are now a handful of pages created for duos that are specifically intended to be viewed as such, along with at this point resources (DuoBox, I believe) for those who play a themed pair with a partner and only want to use a single page to describe the characters as a unit. The only issue I'd have there is if we started to see Trio and Quartet and so on pop up, then a more generic term like Team or Partnership would be called for. My worry in generalizing it is that we might see a bunch of "friends" pages pop up that detail relationships instead of characters, but that's just a random worst-case worry without any actual precedent I'm aware of.
- Re: 2, Maybe Association? Character Group is currently in use to organize a lot of groups in the way I would expect this Category to, otherwise I would suggest that as an appropriate "neutral" term.
- Re: 3, I'm in favor of groups having a short summary and/or infobox on their category page (for example, not so much text that it pushes the actual list of categorized articles off the screen), with the top-level namespace article having any more thorough write-up of background information/group policies/recruitment info/manually updated roster/etc. If it needs to go one way or the other, I'd say categories as the standard for the reason you stated, character organization. -- AlwaysAPrice 14:04, 15 May 2008 (MST)
