Urban Bushido is a community activist band of superheroes proficient in a variety of martial arts and fighting styles, both armed and unarmed. Membership is limited to Scrappers and Tankers, but exceptions may be made for heroes of other Archetypes who demonstrate proficiency in hand-to-hand and/or ranged weapon combat.

Leaders of Urban Bushido are expected to keep and maintain a uniform common to their fighting style of choice (though heroes who are versed in several martial arts styles may choose to represent one or more of these styles in their uniform). Boxing, wrestling and military styles such as Krav Maga are recognized as legitimate martial arts styles by Urban Bushido, as are Ninjutsu/Taijutsu, Jeet Kune Do and similar pragmatic styles. Students of fighting styles which have both martial varieties and aesthetic varieties (the latter of which are considerably less effective in close-quarters combat) may be required to demonstrate proficiency in the martial varieties before they may progress through the ranks; Such styles include Capoeira, Taiji/Taijiquan ( Tai Chi), Wushu, Sumo wrestling and freestyle wrestling.
