[edit] Personality

Tends to act bigger and slicker than he really is concerning himself and his abilities, though, by his own (private) admission, it's becuase "if he doesn't, who will?" He loves to ham it up in groups, and as such is hard to embarress infront of a large group. However, in a one-on-one or a small group, he tends to be a little more subdued (and much more prone to turning red.)

[edit] Powers & Abilities

Atti lacks any "superpowers," his sonic ability being the closest thing he has to such a classification. Aside from sonics, he has some informal hand-to-hand experience. His ability to control and manipulate his vocals are about on par with those of the Lyrebird, able to perfectly duplicate almost all voices, and many sounds that he may hear.

[edit] Weaknesses

Atti appears to regenerate at a slower rate than most, however, he recovers more fully, rarely ending up with scars. Whether or not this is related to his apparently innate sonic ability has yet to be determined.

Otherwise, he has all the weaknesses of a standard teenage boy, including, but not limited to:

[edit] Character History

Atticus "Atti" Seraphine, was the lead singer of a mildly popular garage band, Captain A and the Celestials. He was (and is) a student of average academic ability, but is fairly popular among the student body. The band, for the most part nothing more than a great cover-band due to the lack of writers among the group, had eventually received an chance to open at a major venue in Skyway City. The drummer had managed to secure the venue via lying, however: He claimed the band had their own unique sound, as opposed to being a cover band.

The drummer came to Atticus with this information twenty hours before the concert was to played. Needless to say, the majority of this time was spent panicking and attempting to write not only lyrics, but music to match. After a two hour nap and much, much cramming, creating great tunes with horrible lyrics, the band began to set their instruments up on stage. As the band began their first song, however, disaster struck.

A Supa Troll rave ripped through the arena, sending the crowd panicked and scattering. The lack of a back door meant that the band was stuck high-and-dry onstage as everyone evacuated. Jumping down into the stampede would've left them shattered on the floor. So, the band kept playing, for lack of anything better to do. As the Trolls descended on the stage, the band decided to take action. Backed into a corner with no means of escape but through, and lacking powers of any sort, the band began to swing.

Drumsticks were poked into Supa Troll eyes, symbols flew across the stage, the clang and crash of guitars being bashed against the horde ran rampant, drums rolled across the stage, and Captain A worked the mic stand, smashing trolls over the head with it. They were doing well... but, these were tired teenagers without any formal training. One by one, they were overwhelmed by the superior Trolls, until only Captain A stood. As the trolls closed in, he let out a scream of desperation as he began to charge... only to find the scream did more against the trolls than his micstand ever had, leaving the one infront of him on the floor. He was so stunned, he wasn't aware of the single blow to the back of his neck which caused him to crumple to the floor, fading into unconsciousness.

He awoke in the hospital, finding out of his band mates, he was the best off. A mild concussion were all he had to show for tonight, the others would be nursing their broken bones for months. The night he spent in the hospital, he gradually made the decision to become a hero. A quick stop by City Hall (then back to his home in Talos, then back to City Hall, then to Croatoa to pick up his transcript from the two months he had spent living with a friend, then to etc, etc...) with his paperwork in tow, he received his Hero license and set out into Paragon.

Mild chest trauma - Result of numerous shield bashes followed by a playful slap to the chest.

Small laceration to left buttocks - Result of a jab from the bayonet of a Nemesis rifleman.

Numerous minor lacerations to back - Surprise blast from Devouring Earth creature.

Enjoys wearing kilts.

Rents a sparsely decorated studio apartment in Talos.

Owns a small, light blue Mi'ka ("space kitten") named Scout, given to him by Twilight Harlequin, and a small calico kitten named Jem (bought for the sole purpose of giving Scout a playmate.)

According to Twilight Harlequin, he gives off more pheromones than typical of the average human. Due to his lack of powers, it's likely that the amount is very slight.

According to a small group of fae, he could (potentially) be one of the key players in ending the war between the various factions in Croatoa. Atti himself finds this idea ridiculous.
