Arc is generally quiet if he does not know you, mainly keeping to himself unless around those he knows well. To those he knows well, he's a fairly sarcastic individual.

[edit] Time in Wyvern

Arc's time in Wyvern was were he gained much of his bow and arrow skills, as well as access the the "trick arrows" he so likes to use in combat these days. He joined their ranks, shortly after witnessing the murder of his parents by Arachnos soldiers during a raid on their home. Despite the fact that he was put into a foster home, Arc still held hatred towards Arachnos, and was eventually scouted by Wyvern.
He spent years in the group, executing young villains before they could even come to any sort of real power. His world was good, he had friends, in the form of his team mates. Through the years he came against many villains, big and small. One faithful day, he was sent alone on a mission to track and kill a supposed traitor among the group.
He arrived in the middle of what seemed to be a conversation. Not recognizing any of the voices he drew closer, hiding behind a file cabinet for cover and watching the group of three talk, they all were wearing brown cloaks, so it was hard for Arc to tell which was which, but it was obvious who two of them were from their voices. His teammates, the very people he'd grown to trust, had betrayed them for the enemy. They found him rather quickly, as he stumbled back from shock, falling into something and stirring up enough noise to wake the dead. He took out one of the traitors with a well aimed shot to the head, as well as the person they'd been talking to. He stood at a stand still with Leena, a girl he'd even grown to love, staring him down. He faltered, and thats when the back up he never sent for came in. It was unlike Wyvern to hire a mind controller, maybe not even they did it. But all that really matters is the fact that Arc was forced to shoot the woman he loved in the head, with an explosive tipped arrow. His time with Wyvern was short, after that incident, throwing down his uniform and calling his commander an animal. Thus his time with Wyvern came to an end.

[edit] Freelancer Days

After his "Fall From Grace" as it were, with Wyvern, Arc moved to Paragon city, quickly signing up under the civilian crime fighting act. He quickly worked through the various contacts he was allotted, thanks to his training. He grew a sort of cult following among the people of Paragon City, as no matter what security clearance level he obtained, he always protected the little man, or woman, from the common every day thug. Citizens grew to love the archer, even going so far as to petition a statue in his honor. Though, the statue was never built. The meager fame he had gained fell away soon enough. As he stopped patrolling the streets of Paragon City. Seeming to have disappeared off of the map completely, he had intensionally gone underground to pool his resources.
Almost two years passed with no sign of Arc on the streets of Paragon, until recently, when he was seen sniping a pick pocketer with his bow, a very bad camera shot from a cell phone confirming his return to the city. Seemingly no longer even carrying a bow or arrows on his person, his bow and arrows appearing in his hands almost instantly.

Not long after his return to the city. Arc got in contact with young Lady named Lisa Angelos and eventually joined up with Lisa within the Vice crack down group known as "The Suits" he rose quickly to the higher ranks within the group due to his skills. He fought for quite some time with this group, though eventually had to leave it's ranks, due to a dispute with Lisa.

[edit] Amnesia

More recently, Arc has been seen wandering the streets of Paragon city without a costume or any type of identification besides the medical ID wristband around his left wrist. According to a report by Cygnus Medical center, he was found unconscious on the front steps of the hospital, with heavy cranial trauma, as well as internal bleeding. He was admitted to the hospital's emergency room immediately. After a few days, he recovered from his injuries, and even woke up from his unconscious state, though sadly, he seems to have gotten amnesia from the head injuries. Lacking any identification, the nurses and doctors nick named him John Doe. He was released from the hospital after a mysterious benefactor paid off his medical bill. Arc now wanders Paragon City under the name John Doe, not only trying to start his life a new, but try to make sense of his current situation.

Due to his battles against the Rikti during this new war, like many he has gained a heightened resistance to Psionic powers. For Arc though this has gone one step further, giving him a limited gift of his own Psionic powers. Able to reach into the minds of foes and paralyze them, as well as do a moderate amount of mental damage. He also has the ability to build a Psionic barrier around himself to protect from damage.

Arc Arrows skill with a bow is very high, and he uses a combination of combat, and trick arrows to take down foes. He is also very physically fit, being able to run faster, and for longer then a normal human. Currently because of his current amnesiac status, he has almost no skills, retaining only what he had physically.

At almost all times Arc is equipped with his various teleportation devices, including his wrist weapon teleportation devices which call his bow and arrows to his hands. His arrows are held in a special safe house, which retrieves and cleans used arrows, as well as rebuilding destructible ones. Arc also carries a gadget he calls the "Quantum Accelerator" on him at all times. Which allows him to run at Speeds normally unreachable by humans.
