Okay it's not terribly original, but it's what I made up, impromptu and on the spot when I first played her. The first impetus to create her was the idea of using "Hiss & Purr" as bot names for a Bots MM. Mindre's player didn't want to use it, so I said I would. So I made Angelica. I was shocked that I got the name.

When you've got a young man that's basically signed his life away to work for Crey, you've got a young man that is very very bored and lonely. One particular young man decided that he had two things that might help him solve this - a genetics lab and lots of samples. Like samples of African black panthers and fallen heroes from the Rikti war. It was a side project at first, not something he really ever took serious, and worked hard to splice to genes properly in his spare time stuck at work all day.

Angelica began life as a panther. She doesn't have much memory of this time of her life, except for cages and being poked with sticks by humans. But then a nerdy kid geneticist at Crey gave her an injection that blended her genes with that of a fallen heroine from the Rikti war. Her first memories were of him having his way with her in the lab. She was so disgusted and humiliated by the experience. He'd declawed her as a safety measure, on the genetic level. But that didn't stop her from punching him, grabbing a laser pistol and shooting him until he stopped screaming.

The genes from the fallen hero didn't just give her thumbs and the ability to stand up, but she also inherited a nice pair of wings, high intelligence, and dark shadowy powers. Though not hardly as powerful as the origonal, the predator in her took over, using equipment she had stolen from the lab to build herself protectors in the form of robots, and to fill the void left behind by her lack of claws.

But there was one more problem. Because she'd killed her creator and abuser, the law (or just mostly Crey) wanted her imprisoned. But when she went to run away, people who say her were horrified at a naked black feline woman. So, with the last of her materials, she crafted herself a set of battle armor.

Spurned, rejected, and abused by humans, she feels no love for humans save one - she loves to kill them. Her hatred of the humans who spawned and spurned her runs deep. Particularly male humans that hit on her, get pistol whipped by her with her last rifle. She has no love for Crey either, but then... who does? She is a predator - she stalks her prey.

Speaks with a lisp, purr, or other speech irregularities. She is very much the cold blooded predator that a panther is. Her robots are just mechanical minions to act in place of her claws. But despite the prickly exterior, there's a softer feline inside, that is the young girl created in a lab that is still scared of the world.

Angie recently met a couple of women named Winsome Blue and Gadgette. They sympathized with Angie's plight, and suggested a way for Angie to help make the isles better by helping smuggle people out who were in harms way. It meant getting on the bad side of most villains organizations in the isles and siding with Longbow and Legacy Chain. Angelica agreed, determined to prove that she was a good person.

While a male panther is a solitary animal, a female is very social and often seeks out the company of other females. In the case of Angie and the Garage, the others are hardly around except for Blue, and never really do much together, so she tends to feel alone a lot.
