Amelie is a partner in the Vagrant Investigations private detective agency. Along with Magnum Vagrant the duo solve crimes as hired, and specialize in the paranormal.

• Boyce Crane- Amelie's new companion in immortality and boyfriend. Boyce has helped Amelie adjust to life in the 21st Century after her hundred-and-eight year sleep.

• Magnum Vagrant - Amelie's partner in Vagrant Investigations. He mentors her in the ways of being a detective.

• Athanasius Crey - A man met through Magnum. He's assisted Amelie and Magnum on cases where arcane knowledge was required.

• Scarlet Visor - A costumed Hero from Paragon City. Quite handy if you need some muscle.

[edit] Strengths

• Speed - Amelie can move extremely fast. When running she can cover great distances relatively quickly and rather enjoys snatching weapons from bad guys' hands before they can realize what's happening.

• Stealth - With the ability to blend into the shadows Amelie can remain unseen and travel as she pleases. This comes in handy during detective work.

• Regeneration - As part of being a vampire, Amelie's wounds heal much faster than a normal person's. Large wounds take longer than small things, like gunshots, but can be sped up if she drinks blood.

• Sword fighting - Amelie is an adept swordswoman, having spent many years honing her skill. While she prefers stealth over fighting she's no pushover in a one-on-one battle.

• Sunlight - The light of the sun is deadly to Amelie, and would burn her to a crisp. Obviously, she mostly operates at night.

• Psychics - Amelie has little protection from psychic attacks and invasions, much to her annoyance.

• Holy Items - Any item brandished against Amelie can repel her, provided the attacker truly believes in their faith.

• Ornamental Rapier - A sword as old as Amelie herself, it was the last gift her brother gave her before taking his own life. Amelie cares about the well-being of the sword over herself and keeps it in perfect condition.

• Steel Dagger - A common dagger that Amelie took from a Hellion shortly after waking up, figuring she would be able to put it to use.

• Lucky Hat - The origin of Amelie's hat is shrouded in mystery, as she tells a different story of how she acquired it every time she's asked. Wherever it comes from it appears to be just a normal hat, with no magical aura of any kind, however nobody can deny that it brings uncannily good luck to Amelie.

• Blood-n-a-Tablet - An experimental drug given to Amelie by Magnum Vagrant. It provides Amelie with the same nourishment as drinking blood, as well as kick-starting her body. While taking the pills Amelie has to eat food and drink like a normal human. The pills also have a side-effect of inducing pathological violence, but this isn't known to Amelie or Magnum. Yet.
