Airborne Steel is a natural flying broadsword/SR scrapper created in anticipation of Tech Wings costume elements, played by Enantiodromos.

[edit] Origin/Homeworld

Bernard Veen was born on an alternate Earth that never saw full development of Gunpowder, causing military technology, technology in general, and geopolitical progress to proceed at a slower pace than in our dimension. Bernard was an Aerial Knight in His Majesty's 5th squadron, before being transported to this dimension in by parties and for reasons he has yet to understand.

Airborne Steel flies via a RAF Nieuport 27 ornithopter harness, maximum speed 116 MPH, Service Ceiling 18,200 ft, Rate of Climb 22 min to 16,400 ft. He weilds a standard issue Browning Arondight-class carbon-steel arming sword. His agility, mobility, and partial armour keep him safe from most harm. His sense of Noblesse Oblige drives him to accomplish the improbable.

Sir Bernard combines the chivalry of an Arthurian Knight with the hard-boiled charm of a WWI flying ace, and is dedicated to doing his duty, despite everything that's happened, and how little of it he understands. Can seem quaint or even pathetic, in this light.

Airborne Steel is a pretty standard Broadsword/SR build. Fly enhances in Quickness, Swift, and three slots each in hover and fly ensure that he's pretty much as fast a flier as he can be.
