Agni is a pure bred long haired domestic cat, bought from a pedigree breeder when he was 8 weeks old as a birthday present for Mars Girl. He is named after the Hindu God of Fire. When he was two years old, she paid for him to be given experimental quantum destabilisation treatment with the aim that he could duplicate like her. This worked, but also gave him limited pyrokinetic abilities.

Mars Girl took Agni with her when she left home to join the Celestial Bodies, and he has adapted to her new adventuring lifestyle with ease.

Agni accompanies his mistress Mars Girl in her activities with the Celestial Bodies. She has been quite admaant that his name is on the official member ship roster on equal footing with all the human members.

Agni is extremely loyal to his mistress, and intelligent enough to understand simple verbal commands to fight, or flame off, or come to heel. He is usually obedient, but can get carried away in the heat of combat.

In combat his fierce hunter side comes out, and he shows typical feline tendencies to play with his prey, setting upon them in multiple flaming bodies.

Agni is able to duplicate himself and control multiple bodies at once due to the quantum destabilisation process that he underwent. As a cat, he has superior coordination and can control up to six bodies at a time.

He is able to envelop himself in a plasma sheath that reaches temperature of 3000K, appearing to burn off his hair and skin. The heat from his plasma sheath is highly localised, and he will reflexively turn it off when touching a friendly person such as Mars Girl.

He possesss the usual agility and skill with his claws and teeth for a member of his species.
