[edit] Allies

Sometimes she will do jobs for Arachnos, though sometimes they are more hassle than they are worth to Agent Ironhawk. Usually Archon X pays better for her services.

Ava's Archon X corporation in the Rogue Isles paid better than Arachnos, although they do have an annoying habit of doing evil for the sake of good.

[edit] Enemies

The ones who killed Agent Ironhawk in the first place, she takes great pleasure in exterminating ‘Nazi scum’ whenever and wherever she happens to find them lurking about, determined that no amount of revenge will ever be sufficient for how The Council killed her the first time around.

Shelly Lightfoot is an extra-dimensional imposter who happens to be an exact duplicate of Agent Ironhawk... only a hero.

[edit] Origin

Though she appears human, Agent Ironhawk is anything but.

[edit] A Tail of Two Cultures

Agent Ironhawk was born Sheryl Myzuki Lightfoot, in Chicago on December 4th, 1911 to a WWI serviceman Jonathan Lightfoot who traces his ancestry to various Native American tribes, and Sakura Suzuki of Nagasaki, Japan, who traces her roots to a number of Japanese mystics. She was born in Nagasaki, Japan (Earth Prime). Jonathan Lightfoot was a survivor of the first world war, wherein he met Suzuki, and baby Myzuki was born to the joy of mother and father. However Jonathan and Suzuki were harassed and mocked – Japanese woman, American man, cross-cultured child. They moved to Chicago to start anew.

Young Sheryl had trouble fitting in with American children, despite living in Chicago from a young age. She was always called ‘The Jap’ by other kids in Sunday school. This drove Sheryl to be better than those around her – both academically and in sports.

[edit] A Tail of Two Races

It was then that Jonathan learned that his wife, Suzuki, was a Kitsune – a Japanese fox spirit dedicated to protecting forests and the balance of good and evil in the world. She and her family had been hiding from various forces seeking to kill off the Kitsune.

Mother and father raised their daughter to embrace both sides of her heritage – both American-human and Japanese-Kitsune. They taught her to embrace not only Kitsune powers by human tactics and weapon skills. She became very proficient in the use of a sword from even a young age.

But as the Super Heroes age dawned, various villains were out to use, exploit, or destroy creatures of power in the world. The Council found Sheryl “Shelly” Lightfoot in her twenties and tried to use her for the advancement of the Reich. They murdered Jonathan and Suzuki in front of her. When she refused to help the Reich, she was to be raped and murdered, but instead she slew her captors and escaped.

[edit] A Tail of Two Worlds

After this, Shelly was approached by Arachnos’s Arbiter Sands for a mercenary job or two. She accepted, embraced the mercenary work, getting paid for her skills with deception and assassination made her very happy indeed. She started going by the name Agent Ironhawk and learned to fly various aircraft - anything anyone would teach her. She even took a few jobs from the Vanguard to fight in the Rikti Wars. She even spent a number of years doing secret pirate work between companies or by air.

In 2007 she detected the presence of another like her – another Kitsune named Shelly Lightfoot, living in Paragon City. They ran into eachother on a bank mission, trying to kill one another. Her duplicate, from a parallel earth, tried to stop her from robbing the bank, and overpowered Agent Ironhawk. However she escaped with the money, determined to get back at the ‘fake’ duplicate of herself in Paragon City.

Soon after this encounter she started remembering things that only happened to her duplicate self and not to her, like secret agent work, air piracy, and all manner of assassinations performed by her extra-dimensional counterpart. While she can usually tell one set of memories from the others, she isn't sure how she got all the other Shelly's memories as well as her own.

Yet...

(more to come!)

[edit] Personality

Agent Ironhawk is not truly evil. She does have a very clear sense of right and wrong. However she sees her actions through what she sees as a higher morality – doing evil things for a good outcome. She calls it the hero work that heroes are too cowardly ("chicken-shit") to do. She is a mercenary and goes where the money is.
