Her past transgressions and the various betrayals she's suffered have left Karen with very few people she calls 'friend,' and even less she actually trusts. She prefers to keep to herself these days, citing she needs no one other than herself to survive, and that is all that anyone should ever need. Nevertheless, there are several people she still associates with on a regular basis.

• Dead Eye Jake - The infamous outlaw reborn. It would be a stretch to say that Karen likes the man, but she no doubt respects him and the experience he's had as a professional criminal in the Old West. They once served as comrades in the Dread Aces, and when she learned the old outlaw had started his own group of desperadoes, she thought it might be interesting to see what sort of trouble he might stir up. She approached him for a place in his gang, and so far he has not yet failed to impress.

• Calamity Blaze - The wannabe outlaw. Blaze was standing next to Jake when Karen asked him about a job in the Dead Eye Gang and seemed to instantly take to the grey-skinned woman. After being indoctrinated into the gang, Blaze asked Karen if she would act as her bodyguard, a task she hesitantly accepted. She has since been seen accompanying Blaze on various missions, and even went with her to a party in Paragon City. Blaze seems to enjoy Karen's company, offering her nicknames like "Gigante" and "Big 'Un," but Karen herself is unsure whether she should open up to the possibility of another friendship, or remain closed off.
